Seminar Structure

Comprehensive Insights into Building
Fundamentals and Property Management

The seminar spans two days and is structured into four blocks. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in a property inspection and work on designing the conversion of a department store into a commercial building, incorporating retail and hotel usage. This hands-on experience aims to impart knowledge about property regulations and usage. Towards the conclusion of the seminar, a quick check will be conducted to cover the technical due diligence. The class hours are from 9:30 a.m. to approximately 5:30 p.m. on each day.

In this seminar, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals and basic concepts of buildings. Topics covered include the examination of key components such as facades, building services, and fire protection. Through guided instruction, attendees will explore three-dimensional dependencies within buildings through graphical analysis, enabling them to engage in practical planning activities. The first day of the seminar also includes discussions on project management in new and tenant planning, as well as an overview of technology in property management and the life cycle of real estate, with practical examples. The seminar concludes with a keynote presentation on "Werkerfolg" in technology and law, addressing general technical principles and aspects of defects.
