Institute for Corporate Governance in the German Real Estate Industry

With the objective of formulating and establishing principles of transparent and professional corporate management within the real estate industry, the Institute for Corporate Governance in the German Real Estate Industry ("ICG - Initiative Corporate Governance der deutschen Immobilienwirtschaft e.V.") was founded in 2002 on the initiative of Werner Knips, Heidrick & Struggles, and Prof. Dr. Karl-Werner Schulte (HonRICS). Leading companies and prominent representatives of the industry are part of this initiative. The ICG has developed a code of values and a set of rules for implementing and maintaining improved corporate management and control.

IREBS Executive Education has endorsed the "Principles of Proper and Fair Business Management in the Real Estate Industry." Prof. Dr. Tobias Just (FRICS) was a member of the ICG's executive board until 2015.
