Different regions demand different solutions. The corona pandemic has hit the US harder than Germany and the countries’ approachs to crisis management differ greatly. What are the short-term effects for different asset classes? How will corona impact the way we live, work and shop? What are the key long-term drivers for real estate investments in US and Europe? Which regions will outperform? Will a new phase of suburbanization emerge? It’s the economy, stupid. Or is it politics? Or virology now? In short: What can we expect following the corona crisis on both sides of the pond?
Professor Richard B. Peiser, Ph.D, of the Harvard Graduate School of Design will delve into these questions in a live, online debate with Prof. Dr. Tobias Just (FRICS); Chair of Real Estate Economics at the University of Regensburg and Director of the IREBS Immobilienakademie. Judith Gabler, Director of Operations of RICS, Europe will be moderating this most certainly heated discussion.
